OVERVIEW

Indian Armed Forces is the world's second largest military force with strength of over 1.4 million active personnel. It consist of three professional uniformed service i.e., The Indian Army, The Indian Air Force and The Indian Navy, additionally they're supported by other paramilitary forces like BSF, ITBP, NSG, CISF, CRPF, SSB, Assam Rifles, RPF etc. The President is the supreme commander of the Indian Armed Forces but the national security vested in the hands of The Prime Minister and their chosen cabinet.

〰Our Indian Armed Forces have extensive combat experiences with excellent performance in the world's  highest battlefield(Siachen Glacier) and in tough terrain like Thar desert, mountain peaks of Himalayas in J&K, Ladakh, Sikkim and explored NE states like Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland etc.

〰Personnel of this organisation are mentally and physically beasts as they serve at the places where temperature is less than even 0℃ and the survivability of human is negligible. They're always deployed at the forefront, in the skies to safeguard us and our territories from evil intentions of the enemy.

〰They're the Brahmastra of the nation when every organisation fails to fulfill needs of people then  Armed Forces plays vital role .They are always at forefront of helping fellow citizens in any humanitarian crisis, natural calamity by conducting the rescue operations, evacuating people,  providing relief to the people.

〰Diversity in  religions, cultures and races of our country, India Armed Forces is the secular  organisation where the religion of every personnel is INDIAN, the same we as a citizen should learn to live happily with each other.

Yes there are other perks like handsome pay and allowances, prerequisite and facilities but these shouldn't be considered while joining armed forces as  ITS NOT A JOB PROFESSION, ITS A WAY OF LIFE. So make your life memorable because YOLO(You Only Live Once).

Cdr. Abhinandan Vardhaman has defeated the US build Pak F-16 jets with ageing MiG-21.
